Valvoline Syn GardTM EP Gear and Bearing Oil is a synthetic fluid using PAO oils specifically designed for extreme pressure protection of moderate to heavily loaded industrial gears and bearings. This product provides better oxidation life and low temperature flow compared to conventional oils and has the capability to extend oil drains and increase equipment efficiency. It may be used for lubrication of industrial enclosed gear sets, heavily loaded plain, roller, or other type anti-friction bearlings, and industrial and mining applications with helical, herringbone, bevel and spur gears.
